Sean Strickland warns Khamzat Chimaev before UFC 328

Sean Strickland is not interested in keeping this fight week calm.

With UFC 328 getting closer, he says he does not care what the UFC is trying to do to keep him away from Khamzat Chimaev outside the cage. If he wants to see him, he says he will go see him.

That is how Strickland is talking now. Loud, direct and exactly the way people expect him to sound before a fight like this. He is not dressing it up as mind games. He is not pretending this is all part of some polished media build. He is saying it in the most Strickland way possible.

“If I want to go to his hotel, I’ll go to his hotel,” he said. That gives you the whole mood in one line.

The UFC has already been careful about keeping the two apart after all the bad blood around this matchup. That makes sense. This is not the kind of title fight where both men trade respectful quotes and save the real tension for the walkout. These two have been talking at each other for a while, and the temperature around it has been high from the start.

Strickland is not trying to cool any of that down. He said, “They can try to separate us all they want,” and the rest of his message sounded the same way. If the UFC wants distance, that is the UFC’s problem. He does not sound interested in helping with it.

Strickland is not waiting for the cage
